Although I didn’t get to use this company, they responded immediately after I requested a quote. We discussed my needs and he offered advice outside of the company. Wow ! What a great business.

Stamped Concrete in Colorado Springs

The look of stone, the strength of a slab

Stamped concrete gives you the high-end look of natural stone or brick in one continuous, reinforced slab — no shifting pavers, no gaps for weeds and ants. We color the concrete, press in a stone, slate, wood-plank, or brick pattern, and seal it so the finish keeps its depth.

Underneath the pattern it’s still a properly built slab: 4,000 PSI air-entrained concrete, #3 rebar, graded to drain, and control-jointed for our freeze-thaw — with base prep on the clay-prone sites that need it. Beautiful on top, built to last underneath.

Why our decorative work holds up

Color that lasts, texture that grips, a slab that endures

Stone, slate, brick & wood looks

Dozens of stamp patterns and color combinations — ashlar slate, random stone, running-bond brick, even wood plank — matched to your home and hardscape.

Color-hardened & sealed

Integral color plus a color hardener gives depth and durability, and a quality sealer guards against UV fade, moisture, and de-icing salts.

Built for freeze-thaw

The decorative layer sits on a real slab: 4,000 PSI air-entrained concrete, #3 rebar, proper joints and drainage, so the surface resists spalling through Colorado winters.

Our process

How your Colorado Springs stamped concrete get built

The same clear steps on every job — you’ll know what’s happening and why.

01

Design & sample

We help you pick the pattern, color, and border to match your home, and show you samples before anything is poured.

02

Excavate & grade

We excavate to depth and set the grade so the finished surface sheds water away from the house.

03

Sub-grade & base prep

We prep and compact the sub-grade — adding a base course on the clay-prone sites that need it.

04

Form & reinforce

Forms set to line and grade, #3 rebar for reinforcement across the slab.

05

Pour, color & stamp

4,000 PSI concrete placed, colored and hardened, then stamped with your pattern while it’s workable and jointed to control cracking.

06

Seal & clean-up

We seal the finish for color and protection, leave the site clean, and back it with a 1-year structural warranty.

Common questions

Colorado Springs stamped concrete FAQ

Will colored concrete fade over time?
Quality integral colors are UV-resistant and built to last. Some slight mellowing can occur over the first year as the concrete cures, but properly sealed decorative concrete holds its color for decades. We use premium pigments rated for Colorado’s intense sun.
How long does decorative concrete last?
With proper installation and maintenance, decorative concrete lasts 25–30+ years — comparable to standard concrete. The color, stamping, and texture are integral to the slab, not applied coatings that wear away.
Is stamped concrete slippery?
The texture from stamping actually adds traction. For pool decks or high-moisture areas we can add a non-slip additive to the sealer, so it’s safe to walk on even when wet, without changing the look.
How do I maintain decorative concrete?
Regular sweeping and the occasional rinse is usually enough. Resealing every 2–3 years keeps the color depth and protects the surface — far less work than pavers (weeding, re-sanding) or natural stone.
Can you add color to existing concrete?
Yes, through staining. Acid stains create variegated, natural-looking color through a chemical reaction; water-based stains offer more consistent color and a wider palette. Results depend on the existing concrete’s condition and porosity.
What colors work best in Colorado?
Earth tones — browns, tans, terracotta, and warm grays — complement most Colorado homes and landscapes, and show less dust than very light or very dark options. We’ll help you pick colors that work with your home’s exterior.
